Project: Design two sets from a pilot script of your choice. One set must be on location in Savannah, GA and the other built for a sound stage.

Concept: Poe tells the story of Edgar Allen Poe as a paranormal detective in Boston during the 1840s. I chose the Telfair Academy in Savannah to shoot the party scene at the Boston Museum of Art. My sound stage set design is the basement where Poe conducts his research and lab experiments. I constructed a physical model of this space and used Rhino and 3ds Max to render both sets digitally.
